Capturing the Magic, Respecting your Privacy

At Agartha, we co-create and share the stories of our community with intention. Sometimes, that means taking photos or videos during residencies, events, or everyday moments to showcase the incredible work, connections, and energy that unfolds in these containers. We want to make sure everyone feels seen, respected, and empowered in how their image and contributions are shared.

1. Why We Capture Content:
   • To celebrate and chronicle the projects, collaborations, and people of Agartha.
   • To share inspiration with the world via our Substack, Instagram, X, website, and other content channels.
   • To attract like-minded builders, artists, and dreamers to our community.
2. What We Capture:
   • Workshops, brainstorming sessions, and project milestones.
   • Communal meals, gatherings, and spontaneous moments of connection.
   • Art, prototypes, and the beautiful chaos of creation.
   • Nature retreats, mindfulness sessions, and the magic of our space.
3. How We Use It:
   • Social media (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.) to highlight our community and projects.
   • Substack/newsletters to share stories and updates.
   • Website and promotional materials to inspire future residents and collaborators.
   • Internal archives to reflect on our journey together.

🛡️ Your Rights & Our Commitments

1. Consent First:
   • We’ll always ask for your explicit consent before taking or publishing photos/videos where you’re the main focus.
   • For group shots or background appearances, we’ll notify everyone in advance (e.g., “We’re filming during dinner, opt out if you’d prefer!”).
2. You’re in Control:
   • You can opt out of being photographed or filmed at any time, just let us know.
   • You can review and approve any content where you’re prominently featured before we publish it.
   • You can withdraw consent later. If you change your mind, we’ll take it down.
3. Respect for Privacy:
   • We’ll never capture or share private moments (e.g., meditation, personal conversations, or anything happening in your private living space) unless you explicitly give us an OK.
   • We’ll avoid showing sensitive project details unless you’ve given the green light.
4. Credit Where It’s Due:
   • If you’re featured, we’ll tag you (if you want) and credit your work.
5. No Exploitation:
   • We’ll never use your image or work to promote anything outside of Agartha’s mission (e.g., no third-party ads or unrelated commercial use).
6. Transparency:
   • We’ll clearly label where and how the content will be used (e.g., “This might end up on our Substack!”).
